At Augustin you can choose the setting that suits you the most, - the rustic and intimate Altona wine bar - one of the oldest bars in the country and the only bar in Bergen awarded the Wine Spectator Award, Kapellet (the chapel), an exclusive little separate chamber, our new sitting room Risan, named after the painter by the same name who's widely represented in the hotel's art collection, the Skrivergaarden banquet hall with stage lights, or a long table in the newly refitted Brasserie No22 in rustic and modern surroundings. Max capacity 120 people in one party. See the presentation of the premises below. When the meal is done, you can continue the good conversations in the sheltered corners of Altona Wine Bar, which is made of up six separate rooms where you can stroll from room to room enjoying the rich variety, no forgetting the vast collection of wine in glasses, now from a self-serve dispenser.

Outdoor dining, drinks, and smoking allowed

Patio decorated with a statue by Pål Vigeland, umbrellas, heating lights, and woollen blankets for those who get cold.

	Skrivergaarden - max 75 persons A distinctive modern hall, with a 400 years old wall and a custom designed door by the woodworking artist Lillan Dahle. Room for 80 people on round banquet tables, own stage lights, P.A., high ceiling and good ventilation. Decorated with three paintings by Ole Jørgen Næss, a former artist for the Bergen International Festival.
	Altona wine bar, Skjenkestuen tavern - max 50 persons You will not find anything like it. This 400 years old basement has a unique, rustic, and historic setting, with original slate floors from the 1600s, wooden beams supporting the ceiling and chalked walls, a candlelight atmosphere, and chandeliers by the artist Katrine Berg. Max 50 persons divided across two long tables. Distinctive furnishings in new Scandinavian design. Floor heating and discrete, but efficient, ventilation ensures comfort. Cosy seating outside, where one can also smoke under the cover of a roof.
	Altona Wine Bar, Kapellet (the Chapel), max 14 persons A unique and exclusive room with rustic, whitewashed arches lit by Katrine's stained glass and two custom-made candle sticks, and a carved door in cherry by the woodworking artist Lilian Dahle. Perfect for up to 14 persons.
	Risan, max 16 persons This is a classically decorated room with a giant chandelier from the old homestead in Tveiterås, named after the painter John Anton Risan, two of whose larger works are found in this room. A newly refurbished and nice room for up to 16 people at the royal table.
	Brasserie No22 - max 120 persons Our brassieries are modern and decorated with a rustic feel by Bølgen & Moi's interior architect. Classic white walls, and possibly the longest soda in the city, make this room an excellent choice for clubs and groups who want to eat out and be seated together. Up to 110 people per party. Norwegian contemporary artists are represented in plenty: Kjetil Bergen by three works, Vidar Koksvik by his glass chandelier and three jars in a cupboard, Gerhard Stolz with water colour, Bård Breivik with his sculpture on the wall, and last but not least, an exciting original drawing/water colour by Kjartan Slettemark. The mail work is still Rolf Aamots unique electric paintings that are moulded in three arched glass paintings.
	Rødder - max 30 persons Rødder is a modern, classical banquet room with a painting by John Anton Risan. Has room for two or three banquet tables, max 30 people. New, beautiful, Italian chandelier, hard wood floors, new curtains. Adjacent to wardrobe and bathroom. Outdoor smoking area nearby.
	Forum - max 50 persons Forum is a modern function room, with paintings by John Anton Risan, an object/sculpture by Roald Kvan, graphics by J. Hansen-Krohne, and sits up to 50 people (sorry, no image of the actual room. This image does not do it justice). The room is very intimate when set for a nice party, Christmas dinner, confirmation, etc. You can choose between round banquet tables, long tables or a T-shaped seating arrangement. There's a place for a buffet in the room. Practical with its own wardrobe and bathroom.
